Leveling Up

The leveling system and experience gain is accurate to the actual Pokémon games. The only way to level up your Pokémon is through battles or using an item called Rare Candy. Leveling up also increases the happiness value of the Pokémon.

Battles

Defeating each Pokémon in a battle yields a specific amount of experience and effort value points, this can be viewed using the /info command.

The experience yield from PVP battles is capped at a maximum of 15,000 per Pokémon.

Items

Items such as Exp Share, Exp Charm and Lucky Egg can be used to level up your Pokémon a lot faster.

TIP

All of the mentioned items can be used together to boost the experience gain even further.
